Students in Form 4 and 5 (Years 10 & 11) study English and Mathematics; all do at least two science GCSEs, either Science and Additional Science, or all three of Biology, Chemistry and Physics. Most students also take English Literature and a short course GCSE in Religious Studies.
Many students study German and French and Spanish has been recently introduced.
Additional subjects in the GCSE programme are History, Geography, Design Technology (Graphics or Resistant Materials), Art, Physical Education, Drama and Music.
